Terms & Conditions

Before proceeding with your booking, please take a moment to read the Terms & Conditions carefully. If you have any questions or would like clarification on any aspect of the booking process, performance, or contractual terms, please do not hesitate to get in touch for clarification.

1. Schedule Requirements

- The client must provide the confirmed shoot location and schedule at least 24 hours prior to the shoot date. Failure to do so may result in delays or cancellation without refund.

2. Shot List / Itinerary
- A detailed shot list or itinerary must be provided at least 24 hours prior to the shoot.
・This itinerary must include the timings of key moments or events (e.g. cake cutting, speeches, performances, presentations) that the client wishes to be captured.

・If such timings are not provided, the photographer cannot guarantee coverage of those moments, and no complaints will be accepted regarding missed events resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or missing scheduling information.
- The photographer is not responsible for missed coverage resulting from;
・Delays, schedule changes, or the late arrival of the client, guests, performers, suppliers, venue staff, or any other third party.
・It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the photographer is informed of any changes to the agreed schedule as soon as reasonably possible.

- Reference or inspiration images are strongly encouraged.

・If no references are provided, the photographer will supply sample styles and proceed accordingly.

・In such cases, no post-delivery complaints regarding creative direction, composition, style, or shot selection will be accepted.

3. Cooperation of Guests and Attendees
- The photographer cannot be held responsible for;
・Missed images where subjects decline to be photographed, are unavailable, or where coverage is obstructed by guests, venue staff, or other third parties.


4. Creative Discretion
- The client acknowledges that photography and videography are creative services.
- The photographer retains artistic discretion regarding;
・Composition, lighting, editing style, posing, camera angles, and final image selection.
- The final delivered work will be consistent with the photographer's portfolio and professional style.

 

3. Client Review During Shoot

- The client (or a representative) must review the content during the shoot at a mutually agreed time.

- If no review is conducted:

・The shoot will proceed at the photographer’s discretion.

・No complaints or revision requests relating to missed expectations will be accepted after delivery.

 

5. Photographer Substitution

- In the unlikely event that the photographer is unable to attend:

・A replacement will be arranged.

・If a replacement cannot be provided, a full refund will be issued.

6. Force Majeure
- The photographer shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to;
circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, transportation disruption, venue restrictions, government action, illness, or other unforeseen events.

7. Payment terms
- The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days after the shoot, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Full images and videos will not be delivered until full payment has been received.

 

8. Refund Policy

- Refunds are generally non-refundable.

- A full refund will only be issued if:

・The photographer is unable to attend and no replacement can be arranged.

 

9. Delivery Time Frame

- Up to 150 photos: Delivered within 2–3 days

- 200+ photos: Delivered within 4–5 days
- Short-form video delivery timeframe: 2–4 days depending on complexity.

- Delivery will be via an accessible online link or an expiring downloadable link

 

10. Revisions

- Up to 1–2 minor revisions of no more than 10 pictures are included.

11. Usage Rights & Licensing

- Clients may use the delivered content for personal use, including social media.

- Credit is not required but highly appreciated (e.g., “Photo by [@brendan.pics]”).

- For commercial use:

・A separate licensing agreement and fee will apply.

・Full credit will be required unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

12. Cancellation Policy (Client)

- Cancellation more than 1 month prior to the shoot: Full deposit refunded

- Cancellation within 1 month of the shoot: Deposit is non-refundable

 

13. Overtime Charges

- Overtime is charged at £50 per 30 minutes.

- Overtime must be approved by the client during the shoot

14. Travel Fees
- Shoots within London: No travel fee
- Shoots outside of London: Travel fees will apply and agreed in advance

 

15. Image Selection & Additional Edits

- During a standard 3-hour shoot, approximately 1,000 images may be captured.
・From these, the photographer will select and professionally edit the best 350 images for delivery.

- If the client wishes to receive additional images after reviewing the delivered gallery:

・An extra 100 edited images can be provided for £100

16. Social Media & Portfolio Use
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the photographer reserves the right to use photographs and video contents from the shoot for;
・ portfolio, website, social media, promotional, competition, editorial, and educational purposes.

17. Image Retention
- Final delivered files will be retained for approximately 30 days after delivery.
- After this period, the photographer is not responsible for archiving or maintaining copies of the files.

18. Client Responsibility for Permissions
- The client is responsible for;
・obtaining any permissions, permits, licences, or venue approvals required for photography and videography at the shoot location.

19. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

- Receipt of these Terms and Conditions provides the client with an opportunity to review them before booking.
・By proceeding with the booking, making payment, or accepting the photographer's services, the client confirms their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
